County Cleanup
Each year we dedicate time to clean up our neighborhoods. Vigo County Solid Waste each year provides dumpsters and labor to drop off large items to dispose of. The dates listed are for any Vigo County resident, unless noted.
Acceptable items include:
- household furniture
- mattresses
- large toys
- carpeting (3 feet bundles)
- appliances (not containing CFC’s or HCF’s)
- yard debris (in bags or in 3 foot sections)
In 2022 Vigo County Solid Waste Management District has collected over 196 tons of waste in our county cleanups.
